Bohorodychne is a small town in the Donetsk region of eastern. Before the Russian invasion there were 800 inhabitants, but now only a few of the survivors have remained living there.

It was attacked and invaded on June 2022 but the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the town on September 11 in the same year.

Survivors have told PAP reporters that although their town is almost completely destroyed, they are grateful to be alive.
