Andrzej Duda and Agata Kornhauser-Duda offered their greetings on Sunday, June 23, which is Father’s Day in Poland, state news agency PAP reported.

The Polish first couple wrote: “Dear fathers, as we celebrate Father’s Day, we wish you the joy of family life, pride in the development and achievements of your children, as well as strength and perseverance in fulfilling the beautiful and difficult fatherly duties."

The president and first lady continued: "May the love, trust, gratitude and respect of both younger and older children be a reward and a source of everyday satisfaction."

They added: "There is no greater happiness for a parent than to watch their child grow, mature and finally begin to lead their own adult life. Every father, caring for his children, showing them the world and teaching them how to navigate it, does so because he wants a good future for them."

They also thanked Polish fathers "for accompanying their children at all stages of development; for being their defenders, guardians and friends; for guiding them toward independence."

The Polish presidential couple said: "Thanks to their fathers, children receive extremely valuable gifts, such as self-esteem, self-confidence and a moral and patriotic education."

The president and the first lady noted that "a father is not only someone who takes care of the material well-being of the family—he is, above all, an experienced and wise guide and teacher."

Meanwhile, Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk shared an X post saying: "As a good granddad, I remind my grandchildren to remember about my son on Father's Day."
