Among the most visited spots are Morskie Oko, a picturesque mountain lake, and Kasprowy Wierch, a popular peak accessible by cable car.

From January to July 2024, a total of 2,622,500 tourists explored the Polish Tatra mountains, up from 2,433,000 during the same period last year, and nearly 2.5 million in 2022.

In July alone, almost 833,000 visitors flocked to Poland's highest mountains, following 470,000 in June, reflecting the area's growing appeal.

The trail to Morskie Oko remains the most popular, drawing over 375,000 hikers from January through July.

The Kasprowy Wierch cable car also saw heavy traffic, transporting more than 333,500 tourists to the peak.

The Kościeliska Valley was the third most popular destination, with nearly 300,000 visitors, including over 82,000 in July alone, according to TPN.
