The committee addressed the case of the referees for breaching public order and sports regulations.
Each was given a one-year suspension, with five months immediately enforced and the remaining seven months suspended for two years, in addition to a financial penalty of 25,000 PLN (5840.25 EUR) each.
Referees Bartosz Frankowski and Tomasz Musiał were held in a detoxification center in Lublin ahead of a Champions League game in early August.
The PZPN Disciplinary Committee determined that they had breached public order and sportsmanship standards, resulting in a one-year suspension for each, with an immediate five-month ban and the remaining seven months suspended for two years.
Prior to this, they had been temporarily suspended for 90 days as a preventive measure.
After the incident, both referees publicly apologized for their conduct.
