Record-breaking Lotto draw yields 11 winners, but no millionaires

08.11.2024 13:00
The latest Lotto draw on Thursday, November 7, set a new record with 11 players successfully hitting the jackpot by matching all six numbers. However, due to the split prize pool, none of the winners will achieve millionaire status, with each receiving a payout of PLN 220,000 (EUR 51,000).

The winning numbers—1, 11, 21, 22, 31, 41—show that sometimes certain number patterns can bring luck. Despite the thrill of hitting the "six," the divided prize means that each winner will walk away with just over 220,000 PLN.

Winners should also account for Poland's 10% tax on lottery prizes over PLN 2,280, which will reduce each winner’s net payout to approximately PLN 200,000.

No jackpot in Lotto Plus

Meanwhile, the Lotto Plus draw, which offers an additional PLN 1 million prize for just one extra zloty, did not yield a jackpot winner this time. However, 41 players matched five numbers, each winning PLN 3,500.

How to play Lotto?

To play Lotto, participants select 6 out of 49 numbers for a chance at the jackpot, with a single ticket costing PLN 3. Lotto Plus offers an additional prize opportunity for minimal cost. The next Lotto and Lotto Plus draws will take place on Saturday at 10:00 PM, offering players another shot at a life-changing win.
