Six in 10 Poles say 2024 was a good year: survey

Sixty percent of Poles believe that 2024 was a good year for them personally, while 62 percent feel it was positive for their families, according to a survey.

The study by pollster CBOS also found that 53.2 percent of employed respondents described 2024 as a good year overall for their workplaces.

Meanwhile, 33 percent of those surveyed said 2024 was a good year for Poland as a whole, while 28 percent disagreed.

These results make 2024 slightly less favourable than 2023 but significantly better than 2022, 2021 and 2020 in terms of how Poles view an outgoing year, the pollster said.

The survey was carried out from November 28 to December 9 on a representative random sample of 915 Polish adults.
