The University of Oxford, for the ninth consecutive year, was ranked highest among over 2,000 universities from 115 countries, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard. Close behind them are Princeton and Cambridge.
This year’s rankings also included more than 40 Polish universities, with The Medical University of Wrocław, located in the southwestern part of Poland, receiving the highest praise among them.
The university’s success highlights its excellence in teaching, research, and environment, with strong support from the University Clinical Hospital.
Rector Prof. Piotr Ponikowski expressed pride in their contribution to innovation, patient care, and medical science, emphasizing their global recognition.
Following Wrocław’s university, Poland's other top-ranking institutions include Jagiellonian University, University of Warsaw, and Medical University of Łódź, all of which placed between 600th and 800th globally.
