As previously reported by Radio Poland, a series of murders targeting older women has shocked Warsaw, leaving four victims dead. Three were strangled, while the fourth suffered a fatal heart attack caused by the stress of the attack.
The crimes took place in recent days across the Śródmieście, Ochota, and Ursynów districts of Poland’s capital.
Warsaw police have arrested two suspects, a 45-year-old Polish man and a 33-year-old Ukrainian citizen, who now face charges of murder and robbery.
Investigators believe the motive was financial gain, as the suspects stole valuables, including jewelry, paintings, antique coins, and cash.
