On Monday, the District Medical Court in Katowice, in the south of Poland, ruled that one of the doctors would be suspended for five years, while the other two received two-year suspensions.

The court found that the doctors' delays in taking necessary medical actions, including terminating the pregnancy, contributed to Izabela's death.
The family believes that the doctors' inaction directly caused Izabela's passing, which sparked protests across Poland.

The decision is not final, as the doctors have the option to appeal to the Supreme Medical Court in Warsaw.
