The newly created forest therapy path is the first such therapeutic route in the forests of Pomerania and the third in Poland.

Forest bathing guide Marzena Żachowska explains that forest therapy is a method supported by numerous scientific studies, emphasizing the multifaceted connection between humans and the forest environment.

Walking in the forest heightens the senses and aids in treatment and rehabilitation, Żachowska added. She also noted that being in contact with nature reduces stress hormone levels, helps to lower or normalize blood pressure, positively affects the parasympathetic nervous system, reduces blood glucose levels, alleviates depression and tension, and improves mood. "We become more attentive to our surroundings and ourselves, which makes us kinder and more compassionate," she emphasized.

The trail was created in cooperation between the Elbląg Forest District, the Polish Society of Forest Bathing and Forest Therapy, and the Elbląg Upland Landscape Park.
