Residents reported attacks on livestock, as well as frequent sightings of wolves dangerously close to their homes.

Under a special permit granted by the Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Rzeszów, locals can use noise-making devices such as fireworks, blank pistols, and paintball markers.

Officials emphasized that all measures must prioritize safety and avoid harming or killing the animals, which remain a strictly protected species in Poland.
