In a video message posted on social media, the president wished Poles "peace and joy" during the holiday.
"On the occasion of the Resurrection of the Lord, we extend our best wishes," Duda said on Easter Sunday.
"May this holiday be filled with peace and joy. May the hope for the victory of good over evil, which Christ brings, settle in your homes," he added.
His wife, First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda, noted that "this year's Easter is special because it is celebrated by all Christians at the same time."
"We wish you a time of prayer and reflection, as well as joyful gatherings with loved ones and the strengthening of family ties in an atmosphere of warmth and kindness," she said.
The president continued: "We join you in experiencing the Easter mysteries together. May the joyful ‘Hallelujah’ resound among all our compatriots—both in Poland and abroad. We wish the entire Polish community a blessed and joyful holiday. Happy Easter.”
The presidential couple shared their message as worshippers gathered in churches across Poland to mark one of the most important holidays in the Christian calendar.
Easter, deeply rooted in Poland’s Christian heritage, is traditionally a time for family gatherings.
Religious observance typically peaks during the Holy Week.
On Holy Saturday, the faithful bring baskets of food to be blessed by a priest, followed by a festive Easter breakfast on Sunday morning.
Easter Sunday celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ following his crucifixion, a central belief in the Christian faith.
More than 90 percent of Poles identify as Catholic, according to recent statistics released by church officials.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk also extended Easter greetings, encouraging Poles in a video message to cherish time with their families and avoid political arguments during the holiday.
