Wolański wrote that “today my Sun went out,” describing her as a source of love, strength and purpose in his life.
Maciąg was a well-known public figure in Poland. A leading fashion model of the 1990s, she appeared on major runways in New York, Milan and Paris and worked with designers including Karl Lagerfeld and Nino Cerruti.
After leaving the fashion industry, she became a bestselling author, publishing 19 books and webinars focused on wellness and spirituality.
Maciąg and Wolański had been together since 1996 and married in 2011.
They had one daughter. She had previously spoken publicly about battling cancer, saying earlier this year that her health problems had returned.
