The attack took place on 24 September, when a 31-year-old Ukrainian man armed with a knife attacked five people at the Benedictine Sisters' abbey in Jarosław, southeastern Poland.
Father Stanisław Zbojnowicz later died of his injuries, while four other people were wounded.
The suspect was detained at the scene.
About 100 priests, along with relatives and local residents, attended Tuesday's funeral of Zbojnowicz.
The Mass was led by Auxiliary Bishop Stanisław Jamrozek of Przemyśl.
Zbojnowicz, who had been a priest for 40 years, had served at the Jarosław abbey for the past 16 years.
He was also known for hearing confessions and offering pastoral support to people from the surrounding area.
A letter from Polish President Karol Nawrocki was read during the service.
He said Zbojnowicz's life and four decades of service should be remembered alongside the circumstances of his death.
The priest was buried in the family grave in Grzęska.
