The animal, named Gustaw, got out between Saturday and Sunday.
Its owners alerted police immediately.
Police described servals as fairly gentle, but warned residents not to approach the cat or try to catch it themselves.
Anyone who sees it should call the emergency number, 112.
The town hall said the serval may be frightened and could be wearing a red leather harness.
Servals are wild cats native to Africa, where they live mainly in areas of tall grass.
They weigh between 7kg and 18kg and stand 50-90cm tall at the shoulder.
They have short sandy fur with black spots, a short tail and large ears, and can leap up to 3 metres when hunting.
Keeping a serval at home does not require a special permit in Poland, but owners are expected to register the animal with their town hall or district office.
