Kornhauser-Duda turned heads with her stylish and classy outfits as she mingled with the nearly 2,000-strong crowd from 190 countries in the Japanese capital on Tuesday, the ofeminin.pl website has reported.

The Polish first lady was wearing a chic light-coloured ensemble in tones of silver and powder pink by designer Ela Piorun during the enthronement ceremony.

Kornhauser-Duda then changed into a gold-and-white dress by Piorun, her designer of many years, for an evening reception, ofeminin.pl said.

While in Japan, Kornhauser-Duda also attended a ceremony at the Polish embassy in Tokyo to mark the centennial of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Polish presidential couple in June hosted Japan's then-Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko in Warsaw.
