The survey was carried out from May 2 to 12 on a representative random sample of 1,087 respondents.

A separate study published last month found that 66 percent of Poles were providing support to Ukraine and its people amid the Russian invasion, according to pollster IBRIS.

More than 5.5 million people have fled Ukraine since Russia invaded the country on February 24, according to the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR.

Poland has taken in nearly 3.64 million refugees fleeing Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Polish Border Guard agency reported on Friday.
