A 61-year-old man who had a double lung transplant last week is recovering well

Marian Oniszczuk, who underwent the operation last week in Warsaw, is recovering well.

Marian Oniszczuk, 61 years old, was being treated in Warsaw's MSWiA State Medical Institute (of the "Ministry of the Interior and Administration").

The donor's lungs were transported to Warsaw by a Police Black Hawk helicopter from the Lublin Voivodeship on 1 February.
