New prospects for brain research explored in Poland's Kraków

A recently launched brain research centre at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, southern Poland, aims to discover more effective treatments for neurological diseases.

Structured as an interdisciplinary unit and boasting a state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging lab, the Centre for Brain Research at the Jagiellonian University will conduct studies on both patients with various diseases and healthy individuals as part of scientific projects.

Michał Owczarek spoke to the centre’s Aleksandra Domagalik-Pittner to find out more.
