Pollster CBOS said trust in the president decreased by 2 percentage points compared with a similar survey a month earlier.

At the same time, 35 percent of respondents said they did not trust Duda, an increase of 3 percentage points from a month earlier.

Poland’s second most-trusted politician is Warsaw Mayor and former presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, with 46 percent of those surveyed saying they have confidence in him, the CBOS poll found.

Meanwhile, opposition leader Donald Tusk, conservative leader Jarosław Kaczyński and Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro are the most distrusted politicians in the country, according to the survey.

Fifty-four percent of respondents said they distrusted each of them, CBOS reported.

The survey was carried out from May 8 to 18 on a representative sample of 1,056 adults.
