This summer, Poles had the added option of quenching thirst at stalls with kids selling home-made lemonade, taking example from their peers in the US to raise funds in this way. Meanwhile "lemonade" has come to mean a variety of imaginative drinks not only based on citrus.  Agnieszka Bielawska and Elżbieta Krajewska consider.
