The program will deliver aid directly to 1,000 people and offer cash help to 400 families.

The announcement came during a briefing at Caritas Poland's headquarters in Warsaw, where calls were made for the cessation of hostilities in Gaza and the establishment of a humanitarian corridor to facilitate the delivery of essential supplies.

Deputy Director Ireneusz Krause highlighted the dire shortages in Gaza affecting vital services such as health centers and hospitals.

Following up on the success of the Family-to-Family program, which had supported over 350 families in Gaza by 2020 with aid worth PLN 2.3 million (EUR 515,000), Krause said that ongoing help will hinge on the ability to restock supplies in Gaza and the creation of humanitarian passages.

The charity invites donations through its website, bank transfers, or by sending a text message with "GAZA" to 72052, with each text contributing PLN 2.46 to the relief efforts.
