Donald Tusk issued the festive message in a video posted on social media on Saturday.
The new prime minister wished Poles a "merry Christmas," full of "love and warmth."
Tusk also said that following the October 15 parliamentary elections, and the change of government, now it was time for Poles to "feel a community again."
The prime minister added that festive gatherings and conversations over the Christmas Eve dinner represented a "perfect opportunity" for this.
Tusk said he was confident Poles had a "future as a big, unified nation," the state news agency reported.
