The operation saw investigators confiscate 190 kg of synthetic drugs known as clophedrone (3CMC) and clephedrone (4CMC), along with chemicals used to produce these narcotics, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported on Thursday.
Two suspects have been detained during the crackdown near the eastern city of Siedlce, law enforcers said.
Prosecutors have charged the suspects with illegal manufacture of "significant amounts of illegal substances," according to a police statement.
The crackdown, led by officers from Poland's Central Bureau of Police Investigation (CBŚP), resulted in the seizure of narcotics with a total street value of around PLN 7.6 million (EUR 1.8 million, USD 1.9 million), officials said.
