During this highly popular festival in this part of Europe, dozens of bands from various countries will perform over the first three days of August.
In addition to the traditional Academy of Beautiful Arts featuring prominent Polish figures (such as actors Maria Pakulnis and Leszek Lichota, writers Sylwia Ziętek and Remigiusz Mróz, and presenter Magda Mołek), the festival will also host the Pol'and'Pride Equality Parade.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the festival's Wedding Palace or ask questions to experienced lawyers, Judge Anna Maria Wesołowska and Igor Tuleya.
On Thursday, August 1, Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka visited the festival. She met with participants of the educational program focused on first aid and discussed the new health education subject being introduced in schools from September 1.

Festival-goers paid tribute to the Warsaw Uprising fighters with a moment of silence. To mark the 80th anniversary of the uprising, a spectacular white-and-red flag was displayed and air raid sirens were sounded.
