"The RCMP in Ontario have detained a man accused of making threats. According to reports, he allegedly posted a video online threatening violence against the Prime Minister, the police, and any security personnel who might try to thwart his plans," the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) stated on social media.

33-year-old from Koszalin arrested for posting video threatening Trudeau
The RCMP’s Integrated National Security Enforcement Team investigated and identified Dawid Zalewski (under Canadian law, his name has been made public).
The RCMP reported in July that the men had posted threats to kill Trudeau and other politicians on X and YouTube. "Threats to our national security can manifest in various ways, and Canada is not exempt," the RCMP stated in a press release on Wednesday, according to the National Post.
Polish media indicate that the man involved comes from Koszalin in north-western Poland, and the videos in which he threatens the Prime Minister remain accessible online.
A Polish citizen has been charged with making threats against Prime Minister Trudeau, the police, and security personnel. The York Regional Police played a key role in his prompt arrest.
This incident is part of broader efforts to tackle threats against the Prime Minister, as reported by toronto.ctvnews.ca.
Two weeks prior, criminal charges were also filed against two men from Calgary and Edmonton for threatening the Canadian Prime Minister on social media.
