Due to the widespread attention generated by the appearance of glowing objects in Polish airspace, the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) provided an updated report on the incident on Monday, February 24.
The Polish Space Agency (POLSA) has confirmed that debris from a Falcon 9 rocket has been found in four locations across western Poland: Komorniki and Wiry, near Poznań, as well as Śliwno and Szamotuły, northwest of the city of Ponznań.
The fragments were discovered between February 19 and 21, landing in areas such as a warehouse, a forest, and a field.
Authorities have secured the debris for further analysis, with police and prosecutors involved in the investigation.

Additional SpaceX Falcon 9 debris could be scattered across Poland
SpaceX stated that the fragments pose no threat to people, are not radioactive, and additional pieces may appear within a 100 km-wide corridor across Poland.
POLSA plans to advocate for international regulations requiring companies to disclose material composition to improve debris tracking and safety measures.
