According to Robert Klonowski, Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Protection and Crisis Management at the Ministry of the Interior, the guide is being developed based on an analysis of similar brochures issued in 23 countries.
The 20-30 page, richly illustrated publication aims to help Polish civilians prepare for survival in case of an emergency for at least 72 hours.
It covers scenarios such as power outages, fires, lightning strikes, and war-related threats.
The first printed copies of the guide are expected to be ready in September.
