She moved up after winning the Adelaide International tennis tournament in Australia on Saturday, claiming her second singles title after her victory last year at the French Open.

The Polish 19-year-old stormed past Swiss player Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-2 in the final in Adelaide. She did not drop a set on her way to the title.

Świątek reached the fourth round of the women’s singles at last month’s Australian Open, where she lost to Romania's Simona Halep.

The Polish teenager in October won the French Open, claiming her maiden Grand Slam title and becoming the first Pole to lift a Grand Slam singles trophy.
