OFFSIDE Poland out of EURO 2020

Poland have crashed out of the European championships after losing 2-3 to Sweden in their final group-stage game on Wednesday. The 24-team Euro 2020 tournament runs until July 11 in 11 cities around Europe after being rescheduled from last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Also in the program:

- The European Table Tennis Championships, originally scheduled for September last year, began in the Polish capital on Tuesday and run until June 27. The event features over 200 male and female competitors from 20 countries, including defending European champion Timo Boll of Germany and Poland's multiple Olympian and Paralympian, Natalia Partyka.
