Polish athletes count down to Olympics

Originally scheduled to take place in 2020, the summer Olympics were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The games take place from July 23 to August 8 in Tokyo, Japan, and will not allow international spectators.

The Summer Paralympics will be held between August 24 and September 5. Most Polish athletes are about to finish their preparations for the event.

On Monday, a group of Olympians and Paralympians met at the headquarters of state-run giant PKN Orlen, Poland's largest oil refiner and the biggest sponsor of the national team, to discuss their Olympic challenges in Tokyo.

Michał Owczarek went along too, wondering whether Polish athletes are feeling excited or nervous.
