Women's volleyball: Poland stuns Germany at European championships

Poland beat Germany 3-1 in their opening game at the Women’s European Volleyball Championship on Thursday.

The Poles next take on Greece in a Group B game on Friday evening, and then play the Czech Republic on Saturday.

Two days later, the Polish team will face off against Spain.

The Women's European Volleyball Championship is being held for the 32nd time. The tournament is taking place in four countries: Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania. It runs until September 4.
