Volleyball: Poland lose 1-3 to Slovenia at European championships

Poland have lost 1-3 to Slovenia in the semi-final of of the 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship, held in the southern Polish city of Katowice.

After pulling out an opening set 25-17, the Polish dropped the next three to Slovenia 30-32, 16-25, 35-37.

Poland had won all their games in the tournament, before they lost the thrilling four-set semi-final.

Poland will now face the winner of the other semi-final between Serbia and Italy, also held on Saturday.
