Ukraine's football team arrives in Poland ahead of Italy qualifier

The Ukrainian national football team arrived in Gdańsk, Poland, on Monday to prepare for its crucial Euro 2024 qualifying match against Italy.

The game is scheduled for November 20 in Leverkusen, Germany.

Ukrainian players held a training session in Gdańsk on Monday evening, with plans for two more sessions on Tuesday.

Ahead of the Italy match, the Ukrainian team will play a friendly against Polish club Lechia Gdańsk on November 16, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

In the Euro 2024 qualifying Group C standings, England leads with 16 points, followed by Ukraine with 13 points, and Italy with 10.

Ukraine has one remaining match in the qualifiers, while their main competitors for advancement, Italy, have two.
