The duo defeated Americans Evan King and Christopher Eubanks 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the second round of the clay-court Grand Slam event in the French capital on Sunday.

Up next for Zieliński and Nys at Roland Garros is the top-seeded Spanish-Argentine pairing of Marcel Granollers-Pujol and Horacio Zeballos.

Zieliński and Nys in March won the men’s doubles at the Mexican Open hard-court tournament in Acapulco.

In November, they defended their men’s doubles title at the Moselle Open hard-court tournament in the French city of Metz.
