In a thrilling semifinal match, Berkieta triumphed over Italy's Lorenzo Carboni after almost three hours of intense play, winning 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 7-6 (10-4).

This marks the biggest success of Berkieta’s budding career. He will now face 18-year-old American Kaylan Bigun in the title match. Berkieta’s journey to the final has been impressive, losing just one set on his way, in the 3rd round against Charlie Robertson.

Coached by Piotr Sierzputowski, who has previously worked with Iga Świątek, Berkieta is showcasing exceptional talent. "I am glad I walked off the court victorious. Fatigue was already showing itself," he said after his win.

Berkieta's opponent in the final, Kaylan Bigun, overcame Austrian Joel Josef Schwaerzler 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 in his semifinal match. The championship showdown is set for Saturday.

This achievement places Berkieta among the ranks of successful Polish juniors, following in the footsteps of Jerzy Janowicz, Iga Świątek, and Agnieszka Radwańska, who have all made their mark in junior Grand Slam tournaments.
