The 27-year-old Zieliński, paired with 38-year-old Taiwanese tennis player Su-Wei Hsieh, triumphed in the mixed doubles at Wimbledon on the grass courts in London on Sunday.

They defeated Giuliana Olmos and Santiago Gonzalez from Mexico 6-4, 6-2 in the final.

This marks their second Grand Slam title together after winning the Australian Open in January.

"I am very happy. It is slowly sinking in. It will probably take some time for me to realize the magnitude of this success. It's the fulfillment of childhood dreams," said Zieliński.

"I have dedicated my entire life to achieving these successes," the tennis player added.

When questioned about Hubert Hurkacz's injury, with whom he plans to play doubles at the Paris Olympics, Zieliński stated that "there are no new updates," but his goal has always been to win an Olympic medal.
