The Polish world No. 1 dispatched the 21st-ranked Ukrainian 6-2, 6-2 in the third round of the women’s singles on Friday.
The top-seeded Polish player, who had a bye in the first round, will now face the winner between Italian Jasmine Paolini and Russian Mirra Andreeva for a place in the semifinals.
The Cincinnati Open tournament, also known as the Western & Southern Open, is for many top tennis players the final warm-up before the US Open Grand Slam event.
Earlier this month, Świątek claimed bronze in the women's singles competition at the Paris Olympics after defeating Anna Schmiedlová of Slovakia in the third-place match.
In June, the 23-year-old Pole won the French Open Grand Slam tournament in Paris for the fourth time.
Świątek will be bidding for her sixth Grand Slam title at the 2024 US Open, which begins on August 26.
