Earlier, after a match lasting over 4 hours, Maks Kaśnikowski was defeated by Spanish tennis player Pedro Martinez in the first round of the US Open, with a final score of 7-6 (8-6), 1-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-7 (6-10).
