Fręch last month hit a career milestone by winning the Guadalajara Open hard-court tournament in Mexico to claim her first career singles title.

Meanwhile, Poland's highest ranked player, Iga Świątek, remains world No. 2, more than 1,000 points behind Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

The third-highest ranked Polish female player, Magda Linette, climbed two spots to 38th place in the new world rankings, which were released on Monday.

Fręch and Linette both reached the quarterfinals at the Wuhan Open tournament in China earlier this month.
