The match, which kicks off at 10 p.m. Warsaw time, comes after Poland on Tuesday defeated Brazil 5-0 to secure a spot in the last eight of the sport’s inaugural World Cup.
Earlier in the tournament, the Polish team lost 0-1 to hosts Colombia and was awarded a 3-0 walkover win over group-stage rivals Cameroon, who did not show up for the World Cup.
The tournament, held in Barranquilla, Colombia, runs until November 11, with Poland aiming to make a strong showing in the knockout stages.
Founded in April 2022 as Europe’s first national women’s amputee football team, the Polish squad celebrated its first international victory in September last year, when it defeated the United States 1-0.
In the run-up to the World Cup, Poland also secured two wins over England at the Amp Futbol Cup in Warsaw.
