Women's handball: Poland to play France in European championship opener

Poland are set to play France in the opening match of the 2024 European Women's Handball Championship in Basel, Switzerland on Thursday.

Poland, coached by Norwegian Arne Senstad, will also play Portugal and Spain in the group stage of the tournament.

The 2024 European Women’s Handball Championship will take place in Switzerland, Austria and Hungary from November 28 to December 15.
