Austria's Mika Vermeulen finished second in the final Tour de Ski standings, trailing Klaebo by 1 minute and 23 seconds. France’s Hugo Lapalus secured third place, 1 minute and 44 seconds behind the Norwegian champion.
The highest-ranked Polish skier, Dominik Bury, placed 33rd, 9 minutes and 1 second behind Klaebo. His brother, Kamil Bury, finished 49th, 18 minutes and 8 seconds behind the winner.
Klaebo currently leads the overall World Cup standings, of which the Tour de Ski is a part, with 904 points.
Among the women, Norway's Therese Johaug earned her fourth Tour de Ski title, equalling the record set by Poland’s Justyna Kowalczyk, who claimed consecutive victories in the 2009/2010, 2010/2011, 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 seasons.
In the final standings after seven events, Johaug finished 47 seconds ahead of compatriot Astrid Oeyre Slind and 2 minutes and 41 seconds ahead of American Jessie Diggins.
Polish women did not compete in this year's Tour the Ski, which ended with a gruelling climb up the Alpe Cermis peak in Val di Fiemme, Italy on Sunday.
In the overall 2024/2025 World Cup standings, Johaug holds second place with 715 points, trailing Diggins, who leads with 884. Germany’s Victoria Carl sits in third with 696 points, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
