Wimbledon has officially started in London, marking the 138th edition of the iconic Grand Slam played on grass courts.

This year’s tournament features a record prize fund of £53.5 million.

Poland will be represented in singles by Iga Świątek, Magdalena Fręch, Magda Linette, and Kamil Majchrzak.

Majchrzak will face Italy’s Matteo Berrettini - who reached the Wimbledon final four years ago - in his opening match on Monday, 30 June.

The three Polish women begin their campaigns on Tuesday, 1 July.
