The 24-year-old saw off Samsonova 6-2, 7-5 in the women’s singles quarterfinals as she seeks her first title at the grass-court Grand Slam tournament in London.
Świątek, ranked world No. 4 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), will face Switzerland's Belinda Bencic for a place in the championship match.
The Polish player, coached by Belgian Wim Fissette, last month lost the final of the Bad Homburg Open grass-court tournament in Germany to American Jessica Pegula, 4-6, 5-7.
It was her first career final on grass and her first championship match on any surface since last year’s French Open.
Świątek, a former top-ranked player, has five Grand Slam titles to her name.
