Meanwhile, Polish officials Tomasz Listkiewicz and Adam Kupsik are among 88 assistant referees selected for the tournament by world football’s governing body FIFA.
Poland's Tomasz Kwiatkowski has made the list of 30 video match officials (VMOs) appointed for the tournament.
Pierluigi Collina, FIFA's chief refereeing officer and chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee, said: "The selected match officials are the very best in the world. They were part of a wider pool of officials that was identified and monitored over the past three years."
Marciniak refereed matches during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada and Mexico, featuring 48 teams—16 more than in 2022.
Poland failed to qualify after a 2-3 away defeat to Sweden in a playoff final last month.
