The squad also features Piotr Zieliński of Inter Milan and Nicola Zalewski of Atalanta.

New call-ups include forwards Karol Czubak and Mateusz Żukowski, along with defenders Kacper Potulski, Norbert Wojtuszek and Oskar Wójcik.

Goalkeeper Marcin Bułka returns to the squad after a lengthy injury absence.

Poland will face Ukraine in the southwestern city of Wrocław on Sunday before taking on Nigeria on June 3 at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

None of the three teams qualified for this year's World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, which begins on June 11.

Poland were eliminated after a 2-3 playoff defeat away to Sweden on March 31.

The international window gives teams not participating in the World Cup an opportunity to play friendlies and maintain competitive form ahead of future competitions.

Poland are due to play six matches in the second tier of the UEFA Nations League in the second half of 2026.

Their confirmed fixtures later this year include Nations League matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden and Romania, before the draw for the Euro 2028 qualifiers in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on December 6.
