Majchrzak, ranked No. 76 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), defeated the sixth-ranked Australian 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 in the final of the ATP 250 event in the Netherlands.
Earlier in the tournament, he picked up the biggest win of his career by beating fourth-ranked Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarterfinals, before defeating Russian world No. 8 Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals.
Sunday's championship match marked the 30-year-old Pole's third consecutive victory over a top-10 opponent.

Fellow Pole Hubert Hurkacz, a former world No. 6, was eliminated in the first round in 's-Hertogenbosch after losing to Hungary's Marton Fucsovics.
Hurkacz also exited the doubles competition in the quarterfinals on Friday alongside Canadian partner Gabriel Diallo.
On the women's side, Poland's Magda Linette fell short of reaching the final at the WTA 250 event in 's-Hertogenbosch.
Linette lost 4-6, 6-7 to Czech player Barbora Krejčíková in the semifinals.
Krejčíková, the 2021 French Open champion and 2024 Wimbledon winner, retired before Sunday's final.
The men's and women's tournaments in 's-Hertogenbosch served as a warm-up for Wimbledon, the only Grand Slam event played on grass, which begins in London later this month.
