The competition at the city’s revamped Silesian Stadium will feature 10 athletics events and mark the first time Polish track-and-fielders will be in action after a break of more than three months due to a COVID-19 outbreak.
In September, the Chorzów stadium is expected to host the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial, a track-and-field meet held annually to honour the Polish hammer thrower and Olympic champion who died in 2009.
In May next year, unofficial world relay championships are scheduled to be held in the southern Polish city.
