The Poles won the first set 25-21, but lost the next three 23-25, 16-25 and 14-25 on Sunday in the Italian Adriatic resort of Rimini.
In 2019, the Polish men’s team took the bronze in the Nations League after beating Brazil 3-0. A year earlier, the Poles finished fifth.
In Sunday’s battle for third place in this year’s Nations League, France defeated Slovenia 3-0.
